The local authority in Cambridge is Cambridge City Council. For higher-risk buildings, the Building Safety Regulator is the building control authority and holds the register of occupied HRBs - not Cambridge City Council.
The remediation picture
As at 30 April 2026, 4,378 residential buildings 11m and over with unsafe cladding were being monitored in the government's remediation programmes across England - 55% had started or completed works.
